Many restaurants like to combine the fine tradition of French cooking with the local flavour and L’Espalier is no exception. However, what makes L’Espalier interesting is that it is in Boston and combines traditional French cuisine with New England flavours. The results are both intriguing and delicious. This chic restaurant is also set in old fashioned Back Bay Townhouse, so the ambience reflects the menu.- October 2004
